A Picture A Day ( Week 11)

Presentation

This week we are instructed to present our product, which is the final outcome of force connection technique, incorporate with SCAMPER during creative thinking class.

Group 2

After briefing the ideas came out in the class last week, now we are trying to convey that how SCAMPER works and how practical our final product to lecturer and classmates.

Sketch 1

Sketch 2

Although it's a pity that we can't construct it to a real product to make it more convincing, but I have faith in our presentation which is persuasive and understandable. I have a conscious that besides of conducting a good idea and product, we must be equipped well with presenting skill to convince other peoples to agree with it.

Benjamin's group presentation as the reference and branch of learning to imitate as the idea and presenting skill is excellent.

Synesthesia

Synesthesia is the production of a sense impression relating to one sense or part of the body by stimulation of another sense or part of the body. In other words, people with synesthesia can hear color, or taste shape or smell sound or so on.
Senses of human

Hear color

Taste color

Smell sound

Shape and color of appointed food

So I practice Synesthesia by utilizing these pictures. I try my best to think of pictures as though it were colors, temperatures, textures, scents, flavors, or even physical movements.

Sound:
Machinery sound
Touch:
Soft and smooth as silk
Sight:
Seems like cotton candy
Smell:
Smell like rotten eggs
Taste:
Tasteless like cotton wool

Sound:
Nursery rhyme
Touch:
Warm as torch light
Sight:
Seems like orange and other fruits
Smell:
Smell like fresh tomato
Taste:
Taste like candy with various fruits flavour

Sound:
Country song
Touch:
Warm as fireplace
Sight:
Like a large and warm blanket
Smell:
Smell like fresh vegetables
Taste:
Taste like hot coffee

This is really interesting and fascinating. There are so many forms of synaesthesia drawing me in to see from another person’s perspective to get inspiration from them. I wish people knew about and subsequently shared their synaethesia more, as it’s fascinating how many different combinations there are, and how that effects lives. I believe that synesthesia is a unique way that can indirectly trigger our minds.
